Services
Buying a new home can be a stressful process, and is one of the most important and costly purchases made throughout life. For this reason, it is essential to have an impartial survey early in the house buying process to know exactly what you’re about to buy. Our pre-purchase surveys provide you with clarity, guidance, and reassurance when you need it most.

Home Buyer Surveys
The RICS homebuyer report is suited for newer homes (typically post 1960) built using standard construction methods and materials. It can be suitable for older properties, but usually only if they are simple in nature, such as a small Victorian terrace.
A thorough inspection is carried out followed by a comprehensive report assessing the overall condition of the property. It is designed to highlight any issues with the property such as significant or costly repairs, ongoing maintenance issues, as well as any legal or health and safety matters. The report is presented in a clear and concise manner, in a language that is easily understood.

Building Survey
A full building survey is the most comprehensive report we offer. It is suitable for all properties, however, it is most appropriate for buildings that are old, run-down, substantial in size, or have had any major structural alterations.
The bespoke report follows the same format as the home buyer report but includes a more in-depth survey providing a detailed evaluation on the property’s condition. The report also includes information on how the property may have been constructed, visual defects as well as potentially hidden problems, a schedule of remedial repairs and guidance, and may also include an indication of the cost to repair where appropriate.
